The House of Tartans offer bespoke handmade kilts, highlandwear & accessories. As our customer's experience is paramount, we provide a full service, from understanding and discussing your needs & requirements, offering advice & answering queries, to measuring you for your kilt. Our kilts are hand sewn on our premises, made to your specific requirements & in the finest fabrics woven in Scotland. All budgets can be catered for, without compromising on quality & we specialise in making kilts & outfits quickly if needed for special occasions.

Our kilts are available in over 2,000 tartans, including family clan tartans, Irish, Welsh & district tartans, using the finest worsted wools from Scotland. Our kilts have been worn by a range of customers including those needed for weddings and special occasions, football clubs, dignitaries, Royalty & school & university graduations.

The weights and yardage used for our kilts range from children’s kilts to the 8, 9 or 10 yards of cloth used in making adults kilts. We particularly specialise in making highland outfits quickly. When you purchase one of our kilts or highland outfits, you are buying a genuine article that will last for generations. A House of Tartans kilt is made to last and will look and feel elegant at any social occasion for years to come.
